Larry's Hamburger Cheese Dogs

Larry’s Hamburger Cheese Dogs

So this is another recipe Larry made the other day and I have to say it was soo good! Now to make these a little healthier I would probably substitute the ground chuck for ground turkey. The secret to this was definatly making sure you have plenty of ground meat covering the cheese so that it does not leak out on the grill. The other secret is to plenty of seasoning to really give the meat a good flavor. See the recipe below and let me know if you try it.

Ingredients
  1. In a bowl combine all the ingredients above, you want to season the meat really well and at the end combine the mayonnaise and egg to make the meat bind together better. Now take your meat and shape into a oval shape and in the middle take your cheese slices and break them up so you can stack them up like a cheese stick as this will go in the middle of your hamburger dog. Once you have your cheese in the middle you want to roll the meat around it and shape into a hot dog shape. Now get your grill ready once it is hot you will cook these on your grill until done to your consistency. Serve on hot dog buns with condiments of your choice. If done right the cheese will oose out.
